JUANITO JUAN AND THE EXTRATERRESTRIAN FLYING SPHERES, an extraordinary new episode
Edited by Pier Giorgio Caria
After just over three
seconds, the light suddenly goes out. Obviously surprised and confused by this
event, Juanito then wanders around with his mobile phone trying to find and
film the source of the light, but he is unable to capture anything in the dark
sky that night. A few moments later, about twenty seconds or so, Juanito stops
filming.
The next day, on the 28th
of December 2023, Juanito called me to tell me about the incredible event and
to tell me that the Mexican researcher Arturo Cabello, by processing the frames
of the video he had taken the day before, had identified the sphere that had
been the source of the sudden and intense light that had surprised him the
night before; a sphere that, although invisible due to the darkness, had
remained in the same place where it had been when it had lit up.
In the following images we see the stills that show the event.
As already mentioned,
after the light disappears, Juanito wanders around with his mobile phone in search
of the unknown source, but sees nothing. Fortunately, during these erratic
movements, the camera manages to frame the area where the sphere was still
present, and in the edits it can be seen quite clearly.
Next we see the original
image and the edited and also enlarged one:
Sante Pagano was able to
carry out the appropriate analysis on the original footage and below we can see
the results of these verifications.

METADATA ANALYSIS
When I analysed the metadata, I
found that it had not been tampered with. Moreover, it contained all the
essential data that a clip should contain, except for the source of capture,
which was probably lost due to an error in copying and transferring the file.
On closer inspection, however, it turns out that the video was shot with a
'Galaxy S23 Ultra', the same recording device that Juanito Juan often uses. All
the parameters correspond to those normally generated by this camera, including
the default recording settings. Among these, the presence of the unique code
generated by the camera, the so-called 'displaymatrix', is very important and
was found to be consistent:
All the creation and editing dates match. According to the metadata, the video was recorded on 27 December 2023 at 5:18 am, just as Juanito Juan claimed on Facebook:
GRAPHICAL ANALYSIS
All frames subjected to error level analysis showed no evidence of subsequent graphical changes:
OBSERVATIONAL ANALYSIS
Specific tests and reference points in the video were used to determine this; for example, the distance between the sphere and the telephone wires proves this, as it does not vary from frame to frame, thus demonstrating that the sphere is in perfectly stable aerial suspension, without any movement. The light also does not illuminate or collide with any abnormal obstacles such as wires or structures holding the object in the air:
In the image above, the top red line indicates
the position of the telephone cable.
The flare produced by the light from the sphere
has the same characteristics as that produced by other light sources:
The light produced by the
sphere appears natural and perfectly in context; certain landmarks demonstrate
a real and compliant interaction with it. These include the telephone cables,
which become more visible as the light intensifies. But we also have, above
all, the reflective structure of the pick-up, which reflects the light of the
sphere as soon as it begins to emit it, and we can clearly see the area of
increased light intensity, which we have indicated with the red arrow:
The sphere shows that it
can both emit and reflect light; in fact, when it is not emitting light, the
use of applications that modify certain graphic parameters has shown that the
sphere is in the form of a spherical reflective structure:
The pixels of the sphere conform and fit coherently
into the graphic context. There are no anomalies, even at the edges of the
object:
